Why I became a Lion – Rick Bright

Shortly after moving to Johnsburg, I was participating in a school event.  Since I was also new to the area, I was meeting with several of the parents in my son’s grade for the first time.  One of these parents happened to be Johnsburg Lion and invited me to the next meeting.

I knew nothing about the Lion’s club or their efforts other than seeing the “Yellow Vests” on street corners once a year.  At this meeting, I heard about the many local charity events and I also enjoyed the fellowship of the group.  After that first event, I decided to become a part of the club and I hope to in the future to devote more time and effort to contributing to the organization,
